IntelleXual Entertainment Earns Five San Diego Film Awards Nominations
March 1, 2018 SAN DIEGO, CA – Film Consortium San Diego announced the nominees for the 2018 San Diego Film Awards tonight at the Sunset Temple in North Park at the opening gala for the second annual San Diego Film Week (March 1 – 11, 2018 www.sdfilmweek.com). IntelleXual Entertainment earned five nominations in this year’s Film Awards including;
Televison and Web Category:
Best Television Program for THE INTELLEXUAL TALK SHOW produced for KSDY and IXE.us starring David S. Dawson and Whitney Wegman, directed by Bryan Keith Davis.
Narrative Film Category:
Best Makeup and Hair for John Aviles for his work on FOREVER, MY LOVE.
Best Costume Design for Theresa Dawson Davis and David S. Dawson for FOREVER, MY LOVE.
Best Visual Effects for Mike A. Smith and Lindsey Joell for CONVOLUTION.
Best Actor for Randy Davison for FOREVER, MY LOVE.
This is the fourth year in a row that IntelleXual Entertainment has received nominations for their work at the San Diego Film Awards. This year’s Visual Effects nomination is the third year in a row for IntelleXual Entertainment and the second in a row for effects artists Mike A. Smith and Lindsey Joell. This is Randy Davison’s first nomination for Best Actor at the San Diego Film Awards and the second nomination in the category overall for IntelleXual Entertainment.
The San Diego Film Awards are produced by Film Consortium San Diego a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to the education, promotion and advancement of film productions in San Diego. The 2018 San Diego Film Awards will be held at Humphreys By The Bay on April 8, 2018 and will air on KPBS 2 on April 20, 2018.
