The list of 2015 San Diego Film Awards nominees were announced at last night’s conclusion of the 2015 San Diego Winter Film Showcase held by the San Diego Film Consortium at Balboa Park’s Museum of Photographic Arts.
IntelleXual Entertainment’s short silent-film UNLUCKY CHARMS received a nomination for BEST WRITING. The film has previously won three awards, including BEST WRITING, at the 2014 San Diego 48 Hour Film Project.
“I am so pleased to receive this nomination on behalf of our entire production,” said David S. Dawson, Co-Director of UNLUCKY CHARMS. “We believe that story is the most important aspect of filmmaking. Without a great story and great characters no amount of technical brilliance can make a film work. To be recognized for best writing, once again, means we are doing exactly what we set out to do, and that’s to tell stories that resonate with audiences.”
