IXE teams up with My Power of One

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE San Diego June 9, 2015: intelleXual entertainment has joined forces with My Power of One for their upcoming “An Evening with the IntelleXuals” film premiere and podcast event. My Power of One inspires people to make a difference in their community. One person can make a difference. My Power of One collects money year round through donations, sales of apparel and accessories then at year end they use those monies to help fund an organization within each of these five categories: Children, the Arts, Education, Environment and Animals . They call this their ‘do good’ fund. They also continue to grow their ability to inspire others through a new web series currently in production.

intelleXual entertainment has partnered with My Power of One and will make a donation to their ‘do good’ fund in the amount of 10% of intelleXual entertainment’s ticket sales proceeds if more than 100 tickets are sold to the June 14th event.

“We are very excited to do our part and give back to the community,” states David S. Dawson, founder of intelleXual entertainment. “We made a commitment earlier this year to focus on our community more. We started by making more of our programming San Diego based and we continue that commitment today by partnering with the good deeds of My Power of One. What Sue Vicory and her team are accomplishing is inspiring.”

In addition to the donation agreement intelleXual entertainment will also premiere My Power of One’s teaser for the pilot episode of their web series as part of the 100th episode of The IntelleXual Podcast. Sue Vicory will join David S. Dawson, Mark Atkinson and Steve Schwartz on stage to premiere the footage and talk about My Power of One.

Hi. I’m David, your host at The Intellexual Network. I’ve been a fan of podcasting for years – having first been exposed to podcasting as a Radio & Television Communications student in the early 2000s. I started my first podcast in 2005 as a part of the marketing blitz for a feature film I produced here in San Diego called “What’s The Vig?” I’ve tried more personal shows off and on over the years, but in 2013 I found my voice with the “Voices of ’93 Podcast” which I hosted and produced for my high school class as a celebration of our 20 year reunion. The success of this show, and the overwhelming response of my classmates to continue it past the reunion, has inspired me to round up my extremely talented family and friends and launch The Intellexual Network. A place where we can produce the types of shows that we would listen to, and we think you’ll enjoy.
